36 weeks

I am officially 36 weeks pregnant! I feel like my belly is stretched to capacity. I have a list of aches and pains at least a mile long, and every morning I wake up a little bit more cranky. Today I punched Daniel (in the chest--not to hard) just to make it clear how unfun carrying his son around has become.

I do have a lot to be grateful for though and for the next few weeks I am going to try my best to focus on those things. The biggest one is that I have my son inside me... as many of you know getting pregnant was not a walk in the park for me, and in fact I had basically written off the possiblity of having biological children. I do not want to go a day without thanking the Lord for the MIRACLE that is Ransom Jay.

I am also very grateful for the amazing support system that Daniel and I have. We have now had 3 showers. The last of which was on Tuesday. It was so fun and we were given MORE gifts for our sweet boy. Thank you to everyone who was there and who put that party together. Your love and support means the world to us!

I did have a Dr's Appointment today. Everything is looking good and I am actually 1cm dialated and 50% effaced. I am hoping that just maybe that means Ransom will make his appearance sooner rather than later. I know that I shouldn't get my hopes up to high though. I will just try to be patient and keep myself busy for now.

Hopefully I will survive this Oklahoma heat just a little while longer!
