Busy

Ransom and my mom and I got back on Tuesday from a trip to the Texas Hill Country. Ransom got to see Big Mom ( my mom's mom) and my Aunt Jayne. They have only gotten to see him a couple of times since he was born, so it was fun to watch them get to know him. He did really well traveling and slept pretty well in a strange place. We took lots of pictures of him with the Blue Bonnets ( Texas state flower-- they grow wild everywhere during the spring), and I will be posting those pictures as soon as I have time to sit down and load them onto my computer. I have been rushing around since we have pulled in our drive way, so the pictures will have to wait till another time. Why have I been rushing around? Well, thats because we are not done traveling!

We leave first thing tomorrow morning to go to Houston to see Uncle Tim and Aunt Denecia. We have not seen them since Christmas, and I am so excited for them to get to spend some time with Ransom. We will be traveling with Daniel's sister's family. We are excited to get to go on a trip together, but it might get a little crowded with 3 children and 4 adults in one mini-van. Oh well, it will be an adventure! We will return next Monday, so I should have pictures from that trip as well.

Ransom had his first haircut right after we got back from Texas. It was just a little trim around the ears and stuff, but it was yet another milestone. He has also decided that sitting is for babies and he is not one of those! He wants to be assisted to stand almost constantly, and therefore you must be by his side ready to help him stand at all times. It can be kind of exhausting, but it is also really entertaining to watch the excitement in his eyes when he is standing up.

Well, I am off to fold some laundry and finish packing up our bags. I will be excited to post pictures when we get back!
