Well-Check

So we were supposed to have this well-check at nine months, but we were in Florida. Ransom is in the 75th percentile for his height, but only in the 25th percentile for his weight. Dr. N said that while that was a drop in his growth curve it wasn't huge, and actually pretty common for babies at this age because of the rapid increase in activity. She checked out his gums and said she didn't see much that indicated a first tooth breaking through anytime real soon, so we continue to wait for that milestone to happen. She also checked his ears, as I had been noticing him grabbing at them, but said they look clear of infection. So all in all, she said he looked to be in good health, and was also glad to see him show off his slightly assisted walking skills. He was a big flirt. He didn't sit or stand or lay still for one second. He was a total show off. The end.
