could really be described in one word... HOT! It was right at about 100 degrees. I think that most everyone found shade and still had plenty of fun though. Ransom started out the party a little uneasy about the heat and all of the attention.
But things started to look up when he found the sand and was able to get a bit dirty (he is definitely all boy in that way).
We had plenty to drink and ice cream to keep us cool.
A quick water balloon fight for the kids.
So overall it was a success.
***There will eventually be more pictures of the birthday boy NOT eating his cake, and other fun stuff too, but I don't have them yet.
Yes I do realize he is wearing 2 different shirts... we switched shirts a couple of time actually.
